Note to self: do not ever suggest playing Tic Tac Toe to Jesmond or Apple - they both suck at this simple game! Maybe they are too smart for this hm.
Anyway this was taken at Xi Lai Ton Restaraunt in Kajang where we had a wedding performance on Sunday night. It was memorable for a few things:
1. Jesmond forgot to wear his coat for the second session of the gig!
2. Easily the gig that ended latest (for me anyway - we ended performance at 11.10pm and I reached home at 1.20am!)
3. The wedding dinner that started latest - almost 9pm!
4. First time we laughed on stage during performance - out loud almost! All becos of 1. above!
5. Performance almost tak jadi! Cos I brought the wrong cable! Then we connected 3 jack in cables tomy keyboard using connectors (my keyboard is easily 70-80 meters away from the sound room where the mixer was! After all the trouble, finally found out the restaurant already has the three-pin to mono cable which we needed. Cheh!
6. Betrayal and Lies (to me only - I shall not reveal more)
7. Almost got lost going back because Apple and Jesmond both "fighting" with each other over which is the correct direction to go back to Taman Desa from Kajang. We got lost abit (whichw as why we were back soooo late too!)
8. We forgot to take group pics :(
But I did take a shot of Apple with the empty plates of the food she sapu-ed and one of Jemond and Apple with Fandi, a local "underground" DJ (check out FM31).
Overall it was a fun gig. Thanks to Janson for giving us the opportunity! Looking forward to the next one!
