Was suppose to have stopped, or at least slow down on jersey collecting to save moolah for some future plans (which will be revealed in due time) but then, accidents happens....
Had a great session with Crystal and Justin. Enjoy the clip below - you will know why i love crystal's vocals and Justin's harmony / guitar so much! I felt like a small fan when performing with them - I really listen to them sing, and enjoyed it alot!
Anyone interested in hiring wedding singers, do drop me a mail :) or contact my friends at Perfect Music Events for more info :)
Was at Cookie's place earlier today for steamboat - its been a whil since I got to catch up with her. So I picked Cat and JEsmond after work and headed to Cookie's place in Subang 2 (took us 90 minutes from Taman Desa to her place- crazy rush hour jam!). Met Sharon, Melina and Stephanie at Cookie's place too - these gals are great musicians - will blog about them another time - and had great fun catching up and joking around :)
But highlight of the day was - out of the blue - the topic of the Ngan Yin radio commercial song was brought up. ITs a short cute acappella tune which we thought ahem we could do a better rendition.
So after multiple takes (and endless laughters and effort trying to perfect the short performance, the end result was not bad at all i must say ::) Tada!!!!
Anyone knows if NGan Yin wants to change ambassadors or record a new theme song? haha
Namewee's album is out - I have always been a fan. One of the more controversial characters in the past few years, I tend to think he is one often misunderstood guy. Anyway, everyone is entitled to his opinion on his character and demeanour. For me, i think his music and the message it portrays is meaningful, so i wil give him the thumbs up :)
Can see more of his other videoas from his youtube channel here:-
Malaysia is celebrating its first "Malaysia Day" - as a holiday anyway. I still think its more of a gimmick by some parties to win back some support for its dismal failings last year. Anyway, I have no problems - i get a holiday!
Malaysia Day (as opposed to Merdeka - independance but without Sabah and Sarawak) will be celebrate every 16th September which is the day Sabah and Sarawak officially joined the Malayan union more than 38 years ago and the country become - Malaysia as it is today.
Here is wishing one a happy holiday and would like to share this clip which i think encapsulates the true spirit of harmony i hope would one day be achieved in this wonderful country (and not some number + country propaganda slogan made up by some party and not put into practice at all).
Argh Kitbag is having a free worldwide standard shipping for purchases above GBP40.00 and Subside on the other hand is having a GBP20 off every GBP100.00 worth of purchase... this is too much to handle... guess i will have to stay away from the internet for the next two days....argh.......
Actually, i have only tried it once, at Al-Andalus when I met fellow JCs last Saturday for buka puasa. And I only know this place has it so far haha. Its a nice malt drink from UAE which resembles (in look only) to a beer. One would be forgiven to think that it was beer or some alcoholic drink, given the (normally) distinctive green bottle.
Anyway, it really is one sweet (literally) drink and I think I will definitely be having more of these in the near future!
