Phew. Another of the Raminian dude taken off the shelf. Hehe poor fish. Never thought he would be the next. Though not the lengchai-est of dudes, Fish always has been Mr Nice and caring and well loved among the opposite sex hehe. So for him to give up the whole "ocean" of other fishes and stick to one mermaid for the rest of his life, must have been a tough decision. Either that, or this Chris gal really got him. Haha
Either way, just wanna wish him all the best. Future Mrs Fish, please let Fish come tekpo once a week la k :)

APAD 48 - Plastic sheets are here!
Thanks to fellow JCs Pongkes and Sakhratul! At last manage to get these plastice laundry sheets for my Precious! Lately a few of my kits are experiencing bad deformation, especially those with PU sponsors and NNs - melting like mad. Likely due to the humidity here in Malaysia. Anyway these sheets are not the long term answer to the problem either - these plastics are known to stick on to the PU NNs etc if left too long on their own. would need to be extra careful i guess, probably shifting and just moving the sheets with the kits once a few days or something.
Affordable too. RM14 per pack of 40 pcs. I got myself 4, and maybe more will come soon if it proves useful :)
Just finish inserting 40 kits. Long way to go......

APAD 45 - 外星人 ＋ 民哥的復出？
這兩位老前輩暫別民歌界一段時間，最近要籌備“復出”計畫了哈哈。今天約了兩老在炫見面。本來約了9點。但因為工作臨時有變，被關在老闆房間檢討至11點才放人。到了餐廳時已經是最後一個環節了。但還好兩老都還在，至少還是見了面。今天約兩老來，一方面是敘舊，一方面是想讓兩老看看這裡的環境，看看是不是適合他們表演。
是的，兩老就要復出了！哈哈喜歡聽歌的朋友有耳福了：）
老闆patrick也滿欣賞兩老的，不知道有沒有機會安排兩老在這裡駐唱。到時候一定在這報告：）

看到這則新聞，感到可惜，但也欣慰，至少對他應該是個解脫吧。。。
他是我中學時期欣賞的女演員，也因為他，我迷上了日劇（到現在還是）。他的每一处我都有看。尤其是同一屋簷下兩集，重複翻看不下5遍。裡頭的他真的讓我印象深刻，使我天真的相信世界上真的有如此善良,體貼的人。
如果問我標準的夢中情人長何模樣，肯定非劇裡的他莫屬。
可惜，現實往往是殘酷的。那天真的笑容已經成往事了。
希望他能重整旗鼓,也能改過自新。加油吧，酒井法子！

APAD 39 - Arrived at last!
at last my hauls are here! Had a bad experience when for the first time, a parcel from my ebay purchase went missing! This is the last time i use Airsure. Always go for Royal International signed for, my friends!
Anyway the seller was great - understanding and prompt, she sent a replacement parcel (one of the kit had to be changed since the one she sent was the last one) but at least ther eis a conclusion to the matter.

APAD 37 - Nyuk Lan Kajang Satay @ Restoran Malaysia
Went to this place last Sunday after performance with Wai Chee and Cat in Kajang. No prizes for guessing what we had there...
If you still have no idea what Im referring too, yes, its satay obviously!
Recommended by Chew, its a refreshing change to the normal place I go to - Haji Samuri near the Stadium.

APAD 35 - Red v White
Missed the chance to see this show - cos had to perform in a wedding function with Wai Chee and Hui San in Kajang - which i wouldnt miss for anything as i have not sang with them for er....almost a year i think...yah....that long....
Anyway, this Red v White competition at PGRM was quite good i was told - when i reached the competition had ended - managed to only take one clip of the final song performed by all contestants Saw a lot of familiar faces - oh and saw Ziv aka Shun Qi whom i have lost touch for the last 3 years at least...good to see him back smiling and all.
Anyway here is a clip of the song performed by all contestants after the prize presentation. Congratulations to team Red!
Best of all was being able to see Bugs perform - one of the better bands around i must say :)
Looking forward to the next music fest or competition - now that im in semi retirement mode, i would love to see more performances, be it a jazz band, or a roc band, unplgged performances etc. Let me know if you know of any good gigs k!
APAD 33 - Chia Yaw loves Peggy (Updated with 1 video!)
I still remember they registered their marriage on CY's birthday 2 years back - 7.7.2007 - made the newspapers back then too haha...proud moment for him i guess?
Anyway, took him 2 years to save enough for the wedding haha .... but at last it arrived :)
Its a special occasion for me as well as I had recommended my long time singing partners - Wai Chee and Hui San - to sing at CY's wedding. I seldom recommend myself or my partners for weddings just in case anything wrong happens, I will be sad - not that I do not have in my partners' abilities, just that musical taste is something very personal and one man's meat may be another man's poison - so I stay away from it all and normally recommend other "not so close" singers (of course they are still good - just not that close).
Anyway, this is CY's wedding - one of my old buds from my 5 Ramin days - so I had to recommend the best - and Wai Chee and Hui San are as good as they get when it comes to unplugged performances. And I was glad to receive their feedback after the wedding that everyone - guests and couple included - thouroughly enjoyed their music. So next time anyone wants wedding band, let me know ya :P
Anyway, It was a very happy event - everything went smoothly s well I must say.
Great food, I must say. Though still cant get over the name of the restaurant - Extra Super Tanker - Wat the??? Further it is no where near its chinese name here:-
Anyway, it was also great to be able to meet some of my Ramin mates. Real cool friends. It is great to be still able to keep in touch with most of them even though it has been 12 years since we graduated - yes 12 long years! Soon Chern was there with his usual sarcastic humor, Sue was there wishing her farewell - she is going off to China to find her roots - then Chee Siong was busy introducing his new found love to the gang (and other gangs - trust me, i tot it was CS's wedding too - he was around mingling with so many of the guests! haha), Moong and Cora the perfect couple was there too, and Wye and Grace all the way from Penang, leaving poor Jayden behind somewhere where he could have met me and see me sing and inspire him haha, then Mandy tai kh jeh was there, Wai Fun the other dai kah jie (super dark vertsion) was also there, Siok Voon, my good mentor during my PBC days, also was present. Oh ya wen feng too , the ever present assistant monitor. Also met other high school friends like Weng Tai, Soo Yoon, WeeChen, Kok Hui...a trip back in time... and i personally want to say sorry to Pooi San. Due to my fault and oversight, something terrible happened. Hope all is all right.
Oh it was also CS's BD today, and Sue's was the very next day (the big 30 - we initially wanted to give them a big surprise by dumping them both in the pool adjacent to the restaurant haha...but they were saved by the banglas - who blocked the entrance and told us it was closed haha...

APAD 32 - Sui Xing
Got a call from this fellow singer asking if he could crash at my place over the weekend. Known affectionately as "Function King" as he always has a lot of functions /performance lined up (the bread and butter of full time singers) that i know for a fact alot of singers are real envious :P
He has now "retired" back to Batu Pahat but still comes down to KL - like this weekend - for functions etc. In fact he has another performance next Tuesday and Wednesday in Kuching and KK - haha "international" singer...
Anyway he is a good singer, great guitarist and a fellow Cheer Chen and Lu Guang Zhong fan - I will dig up some old clips and share here when i have time :)

Sang at a place called Dave's Pizza with Pei Si today. Not the ideal place to sing, the noisy crowd and all. Agreed to replace Hong Jie here today cos was told the food was great - but shit in the end didnt had time to try them out. I blame it on Chee Siong and Moon who dropped by for a visit haha....if not for them I would have time for the food :P
Another thing, a piece of advice - o not park at the old wing if u intend to stay late - they lock all the doors and access up after 12am i think! bloddy hell, if CS was not there, i would have been forced to carry my heavy keyboard out of 1U and crawl back up to the 4th floor parking lot!!
Anyway went to William for a makan session with CS to thank him for the ride up to the car park:P and also to celebrate his BD la haha...31 years young....haha ...found out today that William serves Wahyu beef nowadays!
At RM60, can only afford it next month :(
