古皓 －我的至爱歌手之一

大家不知道认识这歌手 － 古皓 － 吗？在下最欣赏的歌手之一。有在哪里挖到他《偏题鳞伤》专辑的话记得帮我买下来！！！

因为我的专辑在我当时myvi被偷走时一块儿没了。。。。伤心。我还有卡带，可惜发霉了。。。。

专辑里面的歌我觉得都很好听！当时青少年时期的我能接受这样的歌是因为觉得他新鲜，而且真的打动了我。主打歌《偏题鳞伤》真的词曲都动人，古皓的演绎更是有味道！另一首我喜欢的歌是《伤心的人进不了天堂的门》， 还有《就是你，可是你》。

THE MOST EXPENSIVE BURGER EVER

At RM88.00++, it definitely is, at least in Malaysia! haha ....




My makan sifu, Alwin took up Euro Deli's burger challenge last Saturday. I was supposed to join in too but I had already had quite a heavy "tea" (1 regular pizza with breadsticks - yum!) so when I got his invitation at 7pm, I just tot I should rest. Furthermore, I am broke:P



Anyway, speaking of the challenge, the deal is simple - finish the burger in 45 minutes and you dont have to pay a cent! Yes, its FREE! But if you dont...then a whopping RM88.00++ bill awaits you!

Those who knows Alwin knows that he is my "SIFU" when it comes to eating. Because of him, my weight shot from 70 kg during my Form 5 years to my current 90+kg weight haha. He introduced me to Williams, the mamak where i spent most of my youth (not to mention $$$). At our prime, me and my sifu can easily whallop 2 big bowls of dishes from Williams - and yes, Williams' servings (and price!)are notoriously humongous so that is actually one very mean feat I tell ya. Of cos now the prices have gone to such crazy levels at Williams (RM15 for a burger?!) that I seldom go there recently unless I have the urge to have mee raja - which is my favourite food there at Williams.


But then again, not eating there does not mean that me or my sifu's abilities have diminished. In fact i think both of us are still "the same" haha.


So when Alwin wanted to take up the challenge (for the free food la haha) I thought it shouldnt be a problem. How tough can it be to finish a burger in 45 mintues. Yes they say its big, but how big can it get? haha. So I ask him and his gf to let me have up to date reports on his progress on the challege, expecting something to be sent to me in 15 mintues saying "mission accomplished - it was a piece of burger, oops cake!"



True enough i did get one sms from Alwin's gf, Moon about 15 minutes after the challenge "started". There were no words in the message - just a picture:








I was like - WTH???????????????? THAT REALLY IS ONE HUGE BURGER!

So I replied the text asking how is progress. The reply came a good 15 mintues later, with nothing but another picture:-

WTH x20000000! LOOK AT THAT THICK PIECE OF MEAT! I would have been full just looking at it haha.... By now I knew that my sifu had met his match.

True enough, the next SMS I received 15 minutes later was a note of surrender - "Mission Failed".... hahahahaha. Well if its any consolation at least he gets a free polaraid pict for remembrance...

Looks like it is up to me to avenge my Sifu's loss!

I was told that no one had ever come up tops for the challenge before. Maybe I can break the deadlock. Time to start practising!(PS: Those who want to sponsor my cause can take up my Williams tabs from now on, that would be most appreciated:P)

Project 10! 十号志

I just love the no. 10. Its the number of the playmaker of a football team. Players who have grazed the number include the 2 absolute best - Maradona and Pele.

and it is fated that my chinese name (石浩志） is phonetically the same as "十号志" which means - "No. 10 Cher" haha.

so for the just concluded World Cup, all the WC kits i bought are ironed with the number. Loving them!

Performane at the peak of KL - 2.7.2010

Performed for the first time at such high altitude - in fact, a full 400m in the sky in fact - at the MegaView floor of KL Tower for Macrokiosk's 10th Anniversary celebration, aptly named "We Are Ten".


Thanks to Cat for engaging me for this show (sorry to Zhi Yuan and thanks to Yi Fen who replaced me at Xuan Music Cafe that same night albeit on such short notice :P) - was so afraid couldnt make it in time as I was told to be there around 6pm - bearing in mind it is a Friday and poor me (a Da Gong Zai) was working as well. But then again KL Tower is just a few minutes away from Menara Ambank Group Raja Chulan where I worked - or so I thought. It looked near, but then the walk from the entrace to the foot of the Tower on foot is one tiring one! Took me a full 20 minutes walking and climbing and sweating all the way. Next time, guys and gals, just wait for the minivans who pickes tourists up every 10-15 minutes :P

The performance was great - with Kevin and Cat, my usual partners. We only performed two sessions - short and sweet. Though Kevin had to do a solo stroller performance which i think he enjoyed :) Cant expect me to stroll with my keyboard though haha.

The view on top was, of cos, breathtaking! Especially at night. Now I regret not bringing my trusted D90 up there that night. The following photos are taken with my Iphone so pardon the quality. Anyway I told myself this wont be my last trip to the Tower - I should get the RDL-ians here for one of our BD makan soon! Hm, next up would be CHL's? haha





Oh did I say we get to have a feast there as well? haha yup, a fest on leftovers!
