APAD 45 - Fun Gig @ The Club

Had a fun time playing with Nut and Waye Zai. First time playing with them. Nut (short for Nutselar) is a very talented new singer of Thai-Chinese descendant who had only begun singing professionally slightly more Han a year ago. But she is already a very capable performer who enjoys the stage and who enjoys her work. Full of potential I must say. Have high expectations of her, and hope she can do well in the future.

Waye Zai is an old veteran but whom I have not had the chance to play with until this day. Very seasoned guitar player with very good silky vocals (and good looks too). He was a bit sick today with bad cough, but still did well under the circumstances.

I enjoyed a good night. Always loved to play with performers who have sense and who is up for the occasion and not just someone who take gigs as strictly work only. It is important to enjoy the performance otherwise the day will be hard to pass by. We had very good goreng sessions and for a trip working for the first time i think we were good.

Hoping for more chance to work with them again. Huat!
